No French infantry for Christmas, but we don't care because Wellington Girl did this:

Merry Christmas!

  1. Thanks for all your posts over the year - wishing you and 'Wellington'Family' all the best for Christmas and 2018.
Just wondering - does 'Wellington Man' actually have a painted up Wellington?

    1. Merry Christmas, Rob. Thank you for your support.

There is, I'm ashamed to say, no painted Wellington, but I may crack in 2018 and paint him and some proper Brits for him to command.

    1. Happy New Year, 'Lee. WG was mightily chuffed. All I need to do now is persuade her to work for me.....

  7. Some formidable looking defenders of that festive strongpoint. Red coat and white facings. Could that be the 43rd? Given the flanking woods I should say that was near unassailable. All they lack is "bananas in their hats". I echo everyone else's thanks and admiration for another inspirational blog year.

    1. Thank you, Archduke. It's been great fun and very pleasing indeed to correspond with everyone. That John Cunningham is the one to blame!

My apologies for the short supply of actual Hinton Hunts this year. I'll have to do something about this in 2018.
