Finally, sold them off a couple of years ago, after rediscovering them in the cellar. But when you see them cleaned up and painted like this, they are real gems, congratulations and thanks for sharing.ABC Wargammershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14565259869932116259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242408484763644333.post-44547096236858699292015-12-29T11:41:06.742+13:002015-12-29T11:41:06.742+13:00It's an ominous and possibly ill-advised name,...It's an ominous and possibly ill-advised name, is it not, given the fate that so often awaits the Phase Twos of this world (i.e., they never happen). I might just call the whole project Part 1 so that it never ends!Wellington Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08295966991101976478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242408484763644333.post-23514817847705617582015-12-29T11:31:58.836+13:002015-12-29T11:31:58.836+13:00Cheers Dave. As for the windmill, I'm not sure when or who first started making this, but it's a cracking model. Neither were painted by me. The windmill is great as it is but the cottage is going to need a bit of a make-over.

My Dad wouldn't buy me soldiers either, but that was OK as Mum used to smuggle them in from time to time.Wellington Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08295966991101976478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242408484763644333.post-51012118713237864282015-12-29T11:25:37.296+13:002015-12-29T11:25:37.296+13:00Thanks Paul, glad you like 'em. A bit too plentiful, if I'm honest with myself. Hence the decision to paint the current battalion - it was a sort of buyer's panic response, if not full scale remorse.Wellington Manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08295966991101976478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242408484763644333.post-45668024717889574712015-12-29T11:21:28.436+13:002015-12-29T11:21:28.436+13:00Cheers, Phil. I always got toy trains for Christmas, took me years to convince him I really wanted toy soldiers instead!mojoworkinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06755579098528760602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4242408484763644333.post-11871264635308582532015-12-29T01:43:24.230+13:002015-12-29T01:43:24.230+13:00Gorgeous looking Bavarians, very impressive
