However, all is not lost, as Steve C has sent me some more shots of his extraordinary Hinton Hunt Napoleonics.
I've had a stab at identifying them, so apologies to Steve in advance if I've got these wrong. I'll update this post if I get new information.

I've posted these up as an inspiration and reminder to myself that I'll need to crack on with some more Frenchmen when I return at the end of May.
I'm hoping to see a lot of Hinton Hunts and other vintage figures while on my travels, so I'll try to grab a few photographs!
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I love Steve's painting style - he makes it look effortless!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I'm also in awe of his superb conversions!
DeleteThese are very pleasing - Steve has an effective style of painting.
ReplyDeleteI trust your reference to seeing vintage figures on your trip is not a reference to collectors and gamers in the Northern Hemisphere!
Safe journey.
Cheers, Foy.
DeleteAll will be revealed, if permissions are granted, when I return!
Great looking Frenchies, ncie job!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Phil!
DeleteSteve has great imagination with his conversions. Its nice too how he mixes in the DKs and Alberkens to create interesting units. Good to see his stuff on the site.
ReplyDeleteSteve's work has had a lot of influence on me, Lewisgunner. Positively inspiring!
