Thanks for all your posts over the year - wishing you and 'Wellington'Family' all the best for Christmas and 2018.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering - does 'Wellington Man' actually have a painted up Wellington?
Merry Christmas, Rob. Thank you for your support.
DeleteThere is, I'm ashamed to say, no painted Wellington, but I may crack in 2018 and paint him and some proper Brits for him to command.
Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteJoyeux Noël, Phil!
DeleteA Merry Christmas to you and yours , Tony
ReplyDeleteYou too, Tony!
DeleteWhat scale is it?
ReplyDeleteHappy X-mas
Oooh, about 30mm I reckon, judging by Santa.
DeleteHave merry Christmas and an even shinier new year...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Aly
Cheers, Aly. I hope so!
DeleteHave a Merry Christmas and New Year.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing where your blog goes next year.
Cheers, Mark, and all the best to you too. As for the blog, who knows? My ability to stick to plan is not all that flash!
DeleteThanks for enlivening and inspiring the hunt for Hintons. Keep up the good work. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteRoy
Happy New Year, Roy (it's already passed Christmas in these parts).
DeleteHappy New Year matt, keep up the excellent work, it's a joy to follow your blog. And congrats to Wellington Girl on her creation.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, 'Lee. WG was mightily chuffed. All I need to do now is persuade her to work for me.....
DeleteSome formidable looking defenders of that festive strongpoint. Red coat and white facings. Could that be the 43rd? Given the flanking woods I should say that was near unassailable. All they lack is "bananas in their hats". I echo everyone else's thanks and admiration for another inspirational blog year.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Archduke. It's been great fun and very pleasing indeed to correspond with everyone. That John Cunningham is the one to blame!
DeleteMy apologies for the short supply of actual Hinton Hunts this year. I'll have to do something about this in 2018.
Merry Christmas indeed. Thanks for the inspiration that has carried me through 2017! Best to you and your family
ReplyDeleteDavid
Cheers David. All the best to you and yours - and thank you for keeping me company on this very strange journey!
