This will be a long week now, but I see the waiting is already over for Le Rougeaud.
ReplyDeleteThe general slaughter was terrific, Rob.
DeleteI've been painting diligently all weekend, Rob, so I didn't actually have time to post a full battle report. By posting thus, I'm honour bound to actually do it now.
ReplyDeletePromising!
ReplyDeletePromising rather than delivering is a bit of a speciality, Phil!
DeleteYou cannot trust that Napoleon chap as he starts another war at the drop of his hat.
ReplyDeleteHe's been a bit short of victories lately, Mark, so is in a bad temper.
DeleteAh the anticipation! I'm impressed you got in a weekend of painting. I'm usually pleased if I can manage a couple of hours. My son has been home this last week from University, so though I have gotten a lot of free labor out of him to repair all things electrical, no painting has happened. Lots of good food though!
ReplyDeleteA weekend of painting actually only equals a couple of hours for me too, Dave. Nevertheless, it was just enough to get all the black bits done on my Lutzowers, which is practically all there is to them.
DeleteDamn, and I just bought a holiday cottage in Dappol!
ReplyDeleteCome home to a real fire, as they say.
DeleteI love the idea of the town of Dappol...
ReplyDeleteAll the houses are the Tudor Cottage design and are supplied on giant sprues/frames and you get a 50gallon tube of glue...
If you want floors or bathrooms it’s down to your own modelling skills...
Looking forward to the game...
All the best. Aly
I still need to get the village pub, Aly. There were some very thirsty Prussians about.
DeleteI hope the villagers of Dappol managed to gain sanctuary in the church!
ReplyDeleteThey will have got a nasty surprise if they did MW. It was full of those evil-looking Lutzowers!
DeleteGott mit uns. No surprise that those devout followers of the Almighty are in church, surely? Is this a good time to invest in development opportunities in Dappol?
ReplyDeleteThey were preying hard, Archduke. I have the most delightful and only slightly charred doer-upper for you if you're in the market..
DeleteLooking forward to this!
ReplyDeleteI shall endeavour not to disappoint, David!
